There are three main categories of indoor air pollutants. Particles - There is a multitude of particulate floating around in your interior environment, including household dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, dust mite allergens and fine ash. Did you know that 80% of the fine particles you see suspended in a shaft of sunlight in your living room are dead human skin cells?! Air purifiers use several methods to remove particles. The most common method is through the use of air filters.
