There are three main categories of indoor air pollutants.
- Particles - There is a multitude of particulate floating around in your interior environment,

Air purifiers use several methods to remove particles. The most common method is through the use of air filters. The better air purifiers use a high grade HEPA air filter which removes
99.97% of all particles down to 0.3 microns, including harmful fibers, dust, mold spores, dust mites, pollen and some tobacco smoke.
