There are three main categories of indoor air pollutants.
- Particles - There is a multitude of particulate floating around in your interior environment,
including household dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, dust mite allergens and fine ash. Did you know that 80% of the fine

Air purifiers use several methods to remove particles. The most common method is through the use of air filters. The better air purifiers use a high grade HEPA air filter which removes
99.97% of all particles down to 0.3 microns, including harmful fibers, dust, mold spores, dust mites, pollen and some tobacco smoke. Another method of removing particles is through the use of electricity. Electronic air cleaners place a negative or positive electrical charge on particles as they flow through the air purifier.
